Types of Information Collected
Information You Provide.
Account Registration. When you register for an Account, we ask for your contact information, including items such as name, address, company name, email, and phone number. You will also be required to create a password. When you sign in to your account, we ask you to provide your login information (typically an email address and password) to validate you as a user.
Purchases. If you make a purchase through the site without registering for an account, we ask for your name, shipping and billing address, email address, and phone number. We also ask for the name, shipping address and/or email address of the recipient of products you have purchased if it is someone other than you. When you are placing an order at our site, we collect payment information, which is transferred to and processed through a 3rd party payment gateway and processor. We do not store your financial account information. We also do not have access to this information once an order has been placed or during the processing of payment.
User Content. Our product and company review community is voluntary. By submitting a review you agree that any information submitted, including your name, may be viewed by other customers and third parties we do not control.
Communications. If you contact us directly we may request additional information such as name, email, address, order number, phone number, and context for inquiry as necessary to fulfill your requests.
The personal information that you are asked to provide, and the reasons why you were asked to provide it, will be made clear to you at the point we ask you to provide your personal information.
Information Collected Automatically When You Use Our Site.
Cookies and Other Tracking Technologies. As is true of most websites, we and our analytics and advertising partners gather certain information automatically and store it in log files. In addition, when you use our Services, we may collect certain information automatically from your device. This information may include internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, internet service provider (ISP), referring/exit pages, operating system, date/time stamp, clickstream data, landing page, and referring URL. Legal Basis for Processing Personal Information

Flying Bacon is committed to protecting your information. To do so, we employ a variety of security technologies and measures designed to protect information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. The measures we use are designed to provide a level of security appropriate to the risk of processing your personal information. However, please bear in mind that the Internet cannot be guaranteed to be 100% secure.
We retain personal information we collect from you where we have an ongoing legitimate business need to do so (for example, to provide you with a service you have requested or to comply with applicable legal, tax, or accounting requirements).
When we have no ongoing legitimate business need to process your personal information, we will either delete or anonymize it or, if this is not possible (for example, because your personal information has been stored in backup archives), then we will securely store your personal information and isolate it from any further processing until deletion is possible.
Your Rights and Choices
You can use some of the features of the Services without registering or providing personal information, thereby limiting the type of information that we collect. Note, however, that by doing so you might not be able to access and use all of the functions and services.
If you are a registered user, you may access certain information associated with your Account by logging into your account through the site or email email@example.com. If you wish to terminate your Account all existing order information will remain stored on our 3rd party E-Commerce servers as well as any product reviews you submitted.
To protect your privacy and security, we may take reasonable steps to verify your identity before updating or removing your information. Your ability to access and correct your information may be temporarily limited where access and correction could: inhibit Flying Bacon’s ability to comply with a legal obligation; inhibit Flying Bacon's ability to investigate, make or defend legal claims; result in disclosure of personal information about a third party; or result in breach of a contract or disclosure of trade secrets or other proprietary business information belonging to Flying Bacon or a third party.
You may unsubscribe from receiving marketing emails from us at any time. If you wish to do so, simply follow the instructions found at the end of the e-mail. Even if you unsubscribe, we may still communicate with you via email for informational, transactional, account-related, or similar purposes.
Additional Rights Under the EU General Data Protection Regulation
If you are a resident of the EEA (European Economic Area), you have the following additional data protection rights:

Under Age Privacy
Flying Bacon does not collect information from those under the age of 18. Prior to accessing our site each user consents that they are of age (18+) to purchase our products before navigating to our home page.
International Data Transfers
When you access and use the Services, your information is transferred to the United States, where our servers are located. Please note that the data protection laws of some countries, such as the United States, may not offer a level of privacy protection equivalent to that within your home country.

This Privacy Shield Notice sets out the privacy principles we follow with respect to transfers of personal data from the European Economic Area ("EEA"), the United Kingdom, and Switzerland to the United States, including personal data we receive from individuals who visit our or our affiliates' web and mobile sites ("Websites"), who access or use our product or service offerings ("Services"), or who otherwise interact with us ("you").
Through the help of our Legal Council we are working to ensure we will comply with all the EU-US and Swiss-US Privacy Shield Frameworks as set forth by the U.S. Department of Commerce regarding the collection, use, and retention of personal data from the EU, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland. Types of Personal Data We Collect and Use
We will only process personal data in ways that are compatible with the purposes we collected it for or for purposes you later authorize. Before we use your personal data for a materially different purpose, we will provide you with the opportunity to opt-out.
Transfers to Third Parties
If we have received your personal data in the United States and subsequently transfer that information to a third party acting as an agent, and such third-party agent processes your personal data in a manner inconsistent with the Privacy Shield Principles, we will remain responsible unless we can prove we are not responsible for the event giving rise to the damage.

We may request specific information from you to confirm your identity.

In compliance with the Privacy Shield Principles, we commit to resolve complaints about our collection or use of your personal data. EEA and Swiss individuals with inquiries or complaints regarding our Privacy Shield practices should first contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
